Castle Bromwich removals - Info about Castle Bromwich

Castle Bromwich is a suburb close to Birmingham in the English West Midlands. Castle Bromwich is effectively a suburb of Birmingham but is administered by the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, and is not officially part of Birmingham.

Currently it best known for its Jaguar car factory, during World War II, there was a large airfield and adjoining factory which made Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancaster bombers. This former factory/airfield site is now home to a housing estate known as Castle Vale

Overlooking a section of the M6 Motorway, there is also the remains of an ancient earthworks. (Possibly from whence Castle Bromwich derives it's name). This site was cut in half by a road development sometime in the late 1960's, but it is still visible and commands a good view over Castle Vale and the Teme valley.

Castle Bromwich is also home to Castle Bromwich Hall, locally known as Bradford Hall due to the fact that it was the residence of the Earl of Bradford for many years. Adjoining Castle Bromwich Hall are the Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens, a popular tourist attraction for many years and a source of pride for the residents of Castle Bromwich.
